There’s only so much I can type about myself. It’s important to get to know a coach before deciding to work with them as this will have a direct impact on your comfortability and therefore your progress towards your goals with your coach. For now here’s a bit of background info on me. I’m on a journey towards unlocking my full potential. Over my years of experience and research, I’ve picked up many keys which are essential to unlock new doors in my life and having found these methods, I’ve been able to transform not just the bodies but the lives of many clients with diverse goals (such as: muscle gain, fat loss, mindset development, habit development & even business owners who needed help with their time management and working towards life/business goals) that have decided to work with me. The keys for unlocking your full potential are not limited to fitness. They open many doors in all areas of your life. But it’s not about knowing what the keys are, it’s about learning how to use and implement the keys into your life, You probably realised how much I focus on and talk about the mind and it’s importance, which is strange as i’m a fitness coach so I should only focus on training and diet like most other coaches, right? Over my years of research and training the most significant thing I’ve realised is the significance of the mind when it comes to any type of physical fitness/health growth. Think discipline, self-control, dedication and drive which lead to consistency which is what is required for growth in any aspect of life from fitness to business. My fitness journey changed much more than just my body and this is how i realised that physical growth is just a byproduct of mental growth. If you’re interested in how I train: I’ve trained in many ways over the years but my training now consists of mainly street lifting (weighted calisthenics), compound lifts, BW calisthenics & MMA/Muay Thai as these are what challenge me the most and have pushed me towards physical and mental growth that I’ve not seen while doing much else. I also play football and swim regularly. I’ve focused a lot of my time on learning to use the mind to develop my body and using the body to develop my mind by putting my body through uncomfortable or extreme situations such as topless endurance training outdoors at night when temperatures are sub zero, 4am runs in the winter, regular ice baths etc to build a bullet-proof mind and to develop discipline and control over my mind, which then allows me to use that discipline and self control to stay consistent with my physical fitness training and remaining consistent to my diet which is the method I’ve used to get my physical self to where it is today. This is my perspective of self love and the best road to real growth.
